On the fourth and fifth day of Christmas ….
… it isn’t a surprise I celebrate English Christmas and of course, trying to keep my Czech tradition as you could see in my previous post. Usually on Christmas Day, we just sit back, relax and watch movies and on boxing day, we go and see our family relatives or perhaps do some sport. This Christmas Day, I was cooking English dinner for the first time, but with a little English helper. We did make it quite easy for us and bought everything already prepared and just all ‘ready to add to the oven’, win win. But in the future when the time allows, I will possibly try and cook the dinner from scratch too.
It wouldn’t be me without making another table setting on Christmas Day, you can see the previous one here. I used everything I already had and kept it pretty simple; same decoration, flowers, candle holders from last night. Eucalyptus always looks so great on the table and last well too. Just one little tip, make sure to keep it in the water as I nearly dried mine before I even used it. So on the day, instead keeping them in a vase I placed them in the middle of the table. I also wanted to show our table wood, fo more natural look, so this time I only used a cream table runner.
This Christmas I went for a casual look. My love for denim is just without doubt in my top 10, so of course I got to wear jeans. Yet I went for loose fitted style; “three course dinner alert!!!” I wore it with sparkly By Malene Birger tiger jumper that I got quite few years back, I think even in 2012 – still looks great, doesn’t it? I finished the look with Biba leopard printed kitten heels I scored on sale, and limited edition red Velvet Lipstick from Delilah. In my hair, I wore a piece from H&M x Erdem collection that launch earlier this Autumn 17. It just shows if you invest in your fashion, take care of it too, it will last you a while.
